The Role:

They are currently expanding their Sales Team and are are looking for an experienced B2B Business Development Manager to join their team in Sydney.
As the Business Development Manager you will have commercial acumen and are a highly motivated individual who thrives on creating new business and closing a significant number of opportunities. Your solid relationship management background and a good understanding of Employment Services and sales from within the B2B accounts in Sydney.
The Business Development Manager is a key role in the Business Growth and Strategy team. The holder of the position will be responsible for being the primary contact for industry and major generator of business leading to future revenue growth
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to provide a high quality service
  • Create and manages relationships with key stakeholders in industry
  • Market the companies Training to community and client organisations across Australia, including assisting organisations to allocate budgets and attract external funding
  • Develop and monitors industry consultations, project budgets and the development of Training and Assessment Strategies
  • Complete business development administrative tasks to ensure compliance, meeting KPIs and timeliness objectives
  • Introduce and cross sells other company related services which satisfy client needs
  • Assist the Administration and Compliance and Training Delivery teams to meet standards, industry requirements and compliance
  • Design and implements project work to assist in the company meeting its stated objectives
  • Participate in the Business Growth and Strategy team, including the development of strategic initiatives, other planning activities, organisational development and change management incidents.
  • Uphold WHS policies, procedures and legislative requirements by engaging in safe work practices, taking reasonable care for own health and the safety of others as well as identify and reporting hazards and

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write proposals, reports and develop budgets
  • Knowledge of the VET Sector, VET Compliance, adult education practices and adult learning philosophies
  • Relationship development skills to manage large and diverse clients to achieve pre-determined goals and objectives
  • Certificate IV in TAE Marketing Qualifications (desirable)
