Our Client is a . is a leading wholesale supplier with over 800 products and has become a preferred supplier of many leading brand-name manufacturers, as well as start-up companies. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business General Manager to lead and oversee all vital business functions of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations and our employees, as well as setting strategic goals for the future. Salary to CND 100K. 

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters business. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.  The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company’s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing business management goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity
  • Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
  • Ensuring that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities
  • Managing day-to-day activities in collaboration with senior management and external vendors as necessary
  • Ensuring that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)
  • Organizing and coordinating operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
  • Supervising the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintaining relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
  • Gathering, analyzing and interpreting external and internal data and write reports
  • Assessing overall company performance against objectives
  • Representing the company at events, conferences, negotiations, etc.
  • Ensuring adherence to labour legislation and various internal policies and guidlelines
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as business manager or relevant role, managing 20+ employees
  • Experience in the health and beauty industry will be an asset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
  • Post Graduate education in Business Management as well as experience encompassing supply chain operations, sales & marketing will be a definite advantage.
