Act as a business partner for the Manufacturing Operations and be the key person to lead and oversee internal departments on all administrative and governance functions,  effectively supporting the operations of the manufacturing campus with more than 10,000 employees in Nam Dinh, Vietnam.

Reporting to the Country Director, your responsibilities will be to:
  • Plan, direct and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all supportive functions, including human resources, administration, security, compliance, HSE, IT, logistics & warehouse, guest house and workers dormitory management
  • Formulate and implement company policies and procedures in compliance with  government legislation 
  • Develop a high-performance team environment assuring manufacturing excellence across all functions;
  • Establish and implement corporate governance, standards and quality
  • Organize and facilitate continuous training and education programs for employees 
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Develop strategic plans to promote and develop talent in the manufacturing campus to ensure successful knowledge transfer and succession planning; 
  • Ensures all plant assets are properly maintained, safeguarded and secure
  • Promote a positive corporate image by collaborating with business partners, government, local community organizations and employees

  • University graduate with extensive work experience in Administration, Corporate Responsibility / Compliance / Human Resources / Health and Safety, preferably in a sizeable labour-intensive manufacturing industry (garment or textile industry experience is a plus)
  • Sound knowledge in establishing strong management disciplines through procedures, routines, checks and balances
  • Sound knowledge in process controls and compliance oversight and ability to apply business based analysis
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organizational structure
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage a diverse workforce;
  • Knowledge of audit procedures including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting factory audit;
  • Knowledge of environment, health and safety regulations and international labour standards, and a good understanding of the labour environment in Vietnam;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese
