The Financial Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales  and profitability related data in an ongoing effort to increase sales productivity, effectiveness, and planning accuracy.
The financial analyst develops and tracks KPIs that are critical to the understanding of the business and to enable effective decision making.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and various report data in order to increase sales productivity
  • Lead weekly Sales & Operations Planning meeting
  • Assume the role of revenue and customer activity subject matter expert in support of management decision making
  • Be the first point of contact for inquiries regarding revenue budget, forecast and actual results
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to improve supply chain planning
  • Report sales results against targets. Assist sales and management teams with developing and  reviewing the sales budgets and rolling sales forecasts. 
  • Interpret overall results and perform variance analysis. Develop and update detailed KPI models
  • Analyze line of business operations to determine profitability and to establish baseline for action and  operational changes
  • Prepare and distribute detailed periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports to stakeholders.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required by senior leadership teams
  • Master the ins and outs of the ERP and CRM systems.  Work  closely with internal stakeholders to continue to improve the accuracy of our data and reports
  • Reconcile data across multiple systems working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance
  • Create and distribute client-based reports and dashboards
Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements
Work Experience:
  • 5+ Years of Financial Analysis in either Sales Operations or Finance
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to perform complicated analysis for forecasting, correlation, cannibalization
  • Have very strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.  The ability to build strong cross-functional relationships is key.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint.  SAP knowledge a strong asset. VBA knowledge an asset.

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a quantitative field.
