Advise, lead, oversee and manage all quality related matters of one of the company's Chittagong Garment Operations.. This role has the potential to be developed into a regional and, ultimately, a global role. The firm is ideally looking for someone in Bangladesh or and expat who is willing to return for this important position, but other nationalities are welcome to apply. Salary to USD $100K and accommodation, transport. 

The range includes waterproof jackets, system jackets (with two to three layers), down jackets, ski jackets… so rather complex in construction!  As well as strong technical knowledge, you will need to be a strong, hands-on leader, a change-agent and have plenty of patience and persistence.  There is also a role for an Assistant Manager, so don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested and have a background in technical apparel manufacturing. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop long-term strategies in Quality.
  • Act as the company representative  on Quality matters
  • Keep abreast of all relevant customer requirements and industry trends and highlight implications to the executive team
  • Continuously improve the Quality structures to deliver the best outcome
  • Perform regular review and update internal Quality related guidelines and requirements
  • Compile and conduct Quality related training in the operating units
  • Develop strong and self-managed local team and structure

Key Results/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • No customer claims
  • Pass all customer related final QA audits
  • No critical findings in customer quality process audits
  • Develop the current structures and processes to achieve beyond the current AQL 2.5 standard
Education: University graduate

  • Experienced in outerwear manufacturing is essential
  • Quality related working experience in a technical apparel manufacturing environment
