As a progressive Human Resources professional, are you enthusiastic about creating, initiating, and enhancing organizational programs? Our client, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a competent Human Resources Coordinator to join their Southwestern Ontario facility.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the recruitment process including interviews and selection of internal and external candidates
  • Liaise with Universities/Colleges for co-op program, government agencies (WSIB), insurance carriers, and consultants
  • Preparation and distribution of organizational announcements
  • Administration of monthly staffing reports for both local Human Resources department as well as corporate reporting requirements
  • Maintenance of job posting website (both Internal and external)
  • Responsible for the policies, procedures, and processes that relate to staffing (Requisition approval requirements, Orientation, Training Matrix, etc.)
  • Conduct and report out on exit interviews
  • Maintenance of organizational charts
  • Coordinate and maintain job descriptions with the support and input of management
  • Claims management - WSIB reporting and management
  • Drive continuous improvement activities with claims management and return to work programs
  • Identify and develop plans to reduce work injuries with EHS Coordinator?
 
Qualifications
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 5+ years Human Resources experience and 2+ years Claims Management and Return to Work program experience
  • CHRP/CHRM designation strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong presentation, communications, development, and organizational skills
  • Well-versed in MS Office and HRIS systems
