We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer - Utilities at our Greater Toronto Area office of this major E&C firm.  
 
What We Need:

We are seeking talented individuals to aid in the design and implementation of utility equipment systems as part of a broad engineering and architectural team.

What You'll Do

Direct interaction with clients and end users
Preliminary engineering studies, including cost estimating, project scheduling, and report writing
Detailed engineering and systems design
Equipment and subcontractor procurement duties
Installation supervision and utility system start-up assistance

What You Have:
  • Industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia, Freon, and CO2
  • Steam/ condensate, compressed air, chilled water generation, water filtration systems
  • Process utility systems including RO water, nitrogen, and CO2 
  • Utility and distribution piping
  • Generation of equipment and piping specifications, utility PFD’s & P&ID’s
  • Installation supervision and system start up assistance
  • Required 4+ years of experience
  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related 4-year degree
  • Successful candidates will be professional, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • AutoCAD ability preferred
  • FE/EIT certificate preferred
  • Willing travel to customer project sites for review, audit, and meetings, estimated 15 - 25%
