REPORT TO:  VP & GM, China

Our client is a global leader in packaging industry. Manage all aspects of business operations of the plants in North region to achieve both regional top and bottom lines in accordance with the BU’s strategic growth plan.
  • Responsible for the overall P&L of BJ Site and Shijiazhuang Site in North Region including Sales & Marketing, Production, Finance, HR& Admin, Quality, Engineering & Maintenance, HSE, IT, CI and Logistics, etc.
  • Responsible for growing the business in North Region from commercial excellence perspective, Key Account Management and growing sales from not only Tier 1 Accounts but also Accounts from Tier 2 and 3, especially in dairy segment
  • Support MNC Tier 1 Accounts with BU China S&M and KAM team
  • Leads his team by providing clarity of vision; prioritizing resources; facilitating alignment of the team; setting high expectations; inspiring commitment; encouraging mutual support; and enabling development opportunities
  • Set and out performance on goals for P&L, revenue and cost accordingly to the company strategy and business objectives, leading to provide a strong financial background for shareholders.
  • Develops and implements 5 year business and profitable growth strategies for the region to deliver increased market share and profitability by managing financial performance; implementing growth plan; achieving strong organic growth with existing & new customers, assessing economic factors, demographic trends, and competitive strategy; enhancing the Company brand; and leveraging relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Implements and models customer service standards across the region by ensuring unbeatable excellence in manufacturing standards; understanding unique needs of customer; ensuring enhanced customer experience for the region; creating an environment for all plants to set excellent customer intimacy expectations that are aligned with customer needs and expectations and company goals.
  • Display strong leadership and inspire the entire team to achieve world class manufacturing in flexible packaging to exceed customer requirement and outperform company’s growth & profitability objectives
  • Implement integration projects to grow organization capability of North Region
  • Drive Operations Excellence supported by Group & Regional Operations Team in achieving a high efficiency, high quality and low cost manufacturing platform
  • Partner with HR to develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent
  • Responsible in turning around underperforming segments through process/procedural improvements focused on sales & best practice identification and implementation.
  • Business planning & assessing revenue potential within opportunities
  • Formulate strategies & reaching out to the unexplored market segments for business expansion.
  • Interact with Key Customers.
  • Develop sourcing capabilities with respect to needed materials in close collaboration with central procurement team and product development team

  • Holder of degree in Commercial, Engineering or Finance discipline, MBA is preferable
  • At least 10 years of General Management experience preferably in an international environment,
  • Manufacturing background, preferably experience in Food/Pharma, Chemical or Flexibles Packaging industry.
  • Proven leadership role and track record in running similar operations in terms of size and complexity and in growing the business
  • Ability to lead and guide a large and complex organization in succession situations
