To support our Team we are looking for a SAP – SCM PtP, Support Specialist.
 
The position of the PtP Support Specialist is about supporting our business in providing solutions within the SAP MM and WM module based on a latest state-of–the art SAP architecture. Job requirements can vary from complex project SAP implementation support through consulting and solution design of new business processes to simple incident and service request resolution during day-to-day business operation. Key success factor is to work self-dependent, in a global IT Team requiring close and active communication within IT and business counterparts and embracing challenges within a fast changing business environment.  
 
Primary Responsibilities
 
  • As an member of the Americas SAP team provide  second and third level support for Global SAP users within the area production/logistics, focus PtP
  • Configuration/Customizing (Hands-On) of solutions within the area of PtP
  • Support a multi-phase international rollout project in the AMERICAS region and drive regional enhancements.  Subsequently participate the regional support center with accountability for AMERICA’s enhancements as a member of the Global support team.
  • Defect analysis, bug-fixing in different areas of PtP (purchasing, inventory and warehouse management, material management , etc.)
  • Responsible for global continuous improvement and operations of SAP PtP (SAP WM and MM) (second and third level)
  • Re-engineering of existing and new processes
  • Consulting of our internal business customer and support of international projects (including lead roles)
  • Incident and problem management according to ITIL process guidelines
  • Deliver customer centric support using agile methods/toolsets
  • Excel in a diverse and in a multi-national, collaborative global distributed team
 
Secondary Responsibilities  
  • Comply with our clients Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager. 
  • Management will ensure employees are provided with job specific Environmental, Health & Safety information, training and also ensure employees follow workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
 
Work Experience:
 
  • 6+ years in the SAP environment with focus and expertise in SAP modules WM and MM
  • Experience working in a global support organization
 
Skills and Competencies:
 
  • Expert knowledge in the SAP application areas production and logistics (mainly SAP WM, MM)
  • Analytical and business mindset, focus on problem solving in a customer oriented environment.
  • Experience in Application System Monitoring
  • Willingness to take over responsibility, self-motivated, readily managing and prioritizing diverse requests in a dynamic multi-national environment
  • Expertise in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) considered an asset
  • Experience with and working knowledge of ABAP, and ABAP OO considered an asset
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish and French (bilingual / trilingual) considered an asset
 
Education:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Membership in a 7/24 support team with rotating responsibility for after hour on-call and call-in support
  • 20% Travel (Canadian Passport is required)
