Our client, a world leader in transportation systems, has an opportunity for a Workday HRIS Analyst.  The HRIS Analyst’s main role is to support, maintain and leverage the Workday Application (SaaS) in support of the core HR functions and related business processes. They are looking for a bright, self-starter who likes to work with world-class systems, has a passion for web technologies and a desire to work with the latest technology. The position will report to the Manager, HR Information Technology.
  • Provide technical support for all new Workday functionality deployments.
  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off
  • Responsible for the development, and maintenance of integrations for the Workday application and other 3rd party or internal systems.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and maintain interfaces between Workday and other applications
  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
  • Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate users on operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform.
  • Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management.
  • Monitor data integrity and consistency between Workday and other information systems
  • Create, manage, and update integration test plans (Unit and System).
  • Responsible for performing Unit testing and participating in System testing during 3X yearly updates
  • Coordinate closely with Business Process Managers from HR and Finance
  • Provide Workday integration production support and 3rd level application user support.
  • Ensure that work performed conforms to corporate policies and procedures
  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • International travel may be required.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in an IT environment as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or programmer with significant exposure to requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment and maintenance of application software and business processes in complex environments
  • Experience with the various technologies involved in SOA development (XML, XPath, XSLT, Web Services, etc.)
  • Fluency in Web Services standards and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, SSO, SAML etc.)
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of software implementations and upgrades
  • Ability to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to manage the overall timeline of a project and ensure specific goal dates are being met
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels and functional areas of an organization
  • Must be able to clearly communicate ideas in a technical and user-friendly language.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
